A Pakistan court has suspended a sentence of six months, handed today to reporter Marc Epstein (right) and photographer Jean-Paul Guilloteau of French weekly L'Express. A fine of 100,000 rupees each was not suspended.

The journalists had pleaded guilty to violating the country's visa regulations. Their lawyer Mr. Siddiqui said he would appeal against the conviction and sentence at the provincial Sind High Court within a week, probably on Monday.
